In my bones

In my bones

I felt you in my very bones

With a sick surety that shook me to my core

The fear the pain the lurch in my ribs

The tightness in my throat 

Unshed emotions

Bristling anger

The ferocity of it all

The urge to rip and claim it all

To own it embrace it

The darkness 

The overwhelming surge of power

Bred from vulnerability and helplessness

And finally acceptance

I was born of blood and rage

Ashes to ashes

Dust to dust

Tasted the seasalt of your forbidden lips

Hunger calamity brewing storms

Fear traded for soul and sinew

Flaming desire of unwanted preys

Sizzle and burn in icy vigour

Stone-cold and calm

Waiting eyes

Sinful prayers and tired hands

Aching bones in loving arms

Thunder and madness

Heaven and hell

Felt it all in my very bones

Hear me scream out your name tonight

Laughing in agony

Crying in vain

Throes of passion pass me by

Hades prays for his beloved tonight

You taught me that love didn't have to be served with a side of anxiety and for that I'm eternally grateful. I learnt it the hard way that love need not be a precursor of pain. It can be healing, calming and nourishing for your soul. It can be a respite for your over overwrought neurons. A place of solace and a resting haven for all your worries.  Thank you for showing me a love that one can rely on and be sure of. Without question or doubt. I am glad this kind of love exists even in these fickle times. #reverie

  It's positively bizarre how fast someone can take over so much of your being. Remember when Coldplay had sung, "Nobody said it was easy, noone ever said it'd be so hard"? Well, they had obviously lied. 'cause it is that easy. Like nothing ever in my life has felt this easy before than being with you.   Sometimes, it scares me - the fear of loss, the what-ifs that come pouring in. But then I remind myself it feels so delicately precious because of how remarkably beautiful it is. I try to look back on times when I've heard them say to live in the moments and be grateful for whatever wonderful we get to be a part of. After all we are but a fragment of this vast universe. I marvel at how lucky one has to be to experience the wholeness of the universe in these brief moments which seem to last forever yet never long enough when we're together.
